Vidal’s agent holds talks over proposed £35million Manchester United move

Manchester United and Arturo Vidal’s agent have reportedly held talks over a proposed £35million move for the Chilean star. The Daily Mail, reckon United are in pole position to sign the Chilean midfielder, and we should hopefully hear more about this deal within the next week.

We all know what Vidal is capable of, so we don’t need to go into that yet again. £35Million sounds like a fair fee for the 27-year old who is currently at the peak of his powers. If it were my decision I’d try to offload some more wages off the bills by trying to include Nani or Javier Hernandez in any potential deal.

Patrice Evra was reportedly set to sign for Juventus on Thursday, however it is now Saturday and that move still hasn’t officially gone through. My only guess is that the two clubs may be negotiating a fee for Arturo Vidal, including Patrice Evra in any potential switch.

The Mail also reckon we’re in for Angel Di Maria, but face stiff competition from big-spending Paris Saint-Germain on that front. In terms of wages and transfer fee, they’d completely blow us out of the water if they wanted too.

How much is Arturo Vidal worth? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
