Casemiro has been filmed arriving at Old Trafford, ahead of Man United vs Liverpool later.
Casemiro is in the building. This is not a drill.
Manchester United confirmed they have a deal in place to acquire the Brazilian this summer, though they’re yet to officially unveil the 30-year-old. Word on the street is, that could happen this evening at Old Trafford ahead of the match…
Well, that plan seems to be unfolding, with journalist Laurie Whitwell capturing a video of Casemiro arriving at the stadium, being cheered on by United fans in the process.
There’s no doubt that introducing Casemiro to the Old Trafford crowd before this one will certainly get the fans up for it even more!

It goes without saying, having Casemiro available for this fixture would have been a huge positive. Sadly, though, the deal just wasn’t able to get done in time.
There’s a belief that Casemiro will train with his new teammates for the first time as early as this Thursday. If we’re being honest, that gives him a little bit of time to get himself fit for the 12:30 kick-off against Southampton on Saturday.
Either way, we’re all sick of watching McFred struggle to keep up with the pace of the Premier League every week. I don’t doubt that Casemiro will bring some stability to that defensive-midfield position, while allowing the others around him to do what they do best.
Although this feels like a panic buy, it’s also a cracking bit of business. The Brazil international has won all there is to win in Spain. He now fancies a new challenge in the toughest league on the planet.
