Manchester United are currently taking on the LA Galaxy, with Louis van Gaal’s men trying out the 3-5-2 formation for the first time ever as far as I can remember. Danny Welbeck has just made it 1-0 to the visitors, with an absolute pearler from 25-yards out.
One thing of note already is how high United are pressing. The lads seem to be on the LA players like a flash and are forcing errors early on. Thirty minutes in Ander Herrera has been the pick of the players – he’s absolutely bossing the middle of the park.
