Manchester United Football Club never say die. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is flying the flag perfectly, while sticking to the Red Devils mantras, beliefs and ideologies.
Last night was incredibly special. It was stunning to see the club turn over one of the best club sides in the world in such dramatic fashion.
Although Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford will claim all the headlines, credit has to go to every single member of that squad. Once again, a real impact was made from the substitutes bench as Diogo Dalot worked wonders as a late introduction for the second time in two games.
The 19-year-old is going from strength-to-strength and it’s genuinely brilliant to see him flourishing at this point in the season.
At full-time, a video emerged of Dalot celebrating the victory with his family and it’s just so precious.
Sometimes, there’s more to life than football. His family will have jumped through massive hoops to give young Diogo the best possible opportunity to succeed within the professional game. Nights like these make it all worth it.
We’re lucky to call Dalot ours. Hopefully, that’s the case for the best part of a decade and with Luke Shaw on the opposite flank, our full-back positions could be sorted for the foreseeable future.
