Video: Fernandes & Dalot enjoy kickabout amid coronavirus outbreak

Who knows when we’ll see Manchester United Football Club back in action again?

For now, it’s just a waiting game as a supporter. Mentally, it’s a tough place to be for those players, who’ll be looking to keep those all-important fitness levels up.

The hope is that football resumes on April 4th, but for now, it’s all about staying safe and being careful. It’s mentally draining, more than anything, it’s why you have to stay positive and have fun – which is exactly what United’s Portuguese contingent were doing yesterday…

Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes were having a friendly kickabout in what looks like a (rather large) back garden. Dalot took to Twitter to upload said video, in which Fernandes brilliantly recreates Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siiii’ celebration:

I was also a big fan of Dalot copying Fernandes’ celebration, too, while he’s definitely been taking tips from Mike Dean when it comes to blowing up for full-time.

At the end of the day, this is what football is about. Nothing beats those childhood memories of me having a kickabout with my mates. More than anything, it’s about enjoyment while living in the moment.

The pureness of these two lads just doing what they love is pretty cool to watch – before we get back to the usual hustle and bustle of Premier League football…
