Manchester United Football Club have been somewhat lost without their talismanic midfielder through injury this season. Heck, any team would find it tougher without a player of Paul Pogba’s calibre to call upon.
Anyway, earlier in the week, the Frenchman uploaded a video of himself as his cast was being removed.
Yesterday, the vital United star took to his Instagram stories again, as he begins stepping things up as the 26-year-old looks to return to the field as soon as possible.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but the fact that Pogba came back from the treatment table, then returned for the game against Rochdale was a mistake.
That fixture was at the end of September – and we haven’t seen him since. Risking him in the Carabao Cup won’t be looked back on too fondly whatsoever.
Now, though, it’s about looking forward. The hope is that he’ll return against Manchester City at the start of December, albeit from off the substitutes bench.
At the end of the day, as long as he’s back fully fit and firing for the hectic winter schedule, that has to be viewed as a positive. We have to be realistic, enjoying what we have left with Pogba as in my honest opinion, he’ll be off next summer…
