Robin van Persie and Louis van Gaal led the charge as Holland decimated Spain 5-1 in their opening World Cup game this evening. Spain took the lead courtesy of a Xabi Alonso penalty in the first half, before Robin’s stunning leveller a minute before the half-time break.
Robin then put the icing on the cake in the second half, scoring Holland’s fourth after an error from Iker Casillas.
