Last night was probably one of the coldest outings of the season, and the match was a bittersweet also for a certain Wayne Rooney, who upon his return from injury managed to bag himself a goal within the opening 10 minutes, although the England striker managed to sky a second half penalty way over the bar.
Ryan Giggs was named Man of the Match and rightly so, the veteran rolled back the years and dribbled his way past players almost at will throughout, a special mention goes to the returning Rooney though, who after four weeks on the sidelines, put in a good performance aside from the missed penalty. His goal celebration was fitting as well, dedicating it to Coleen Rooney’s sister, Rosie, who tragically died last week.
