Manchester United’s Europa League campaign is looking a whole lot better now, largely thanks to a dominant 4-0 victory at home to Feyenoord on Thursday evening. Jose Mourinho’s men finally put in a performance that they had been threatening to display for quite some time – and it was a joy to watch.
The team included Henrikh Mkhitaryan from the off which was a huge plus, and his passing and movement on the night was absolutely superb from minute one. Wayne Rooney was also right back at his best, as was Paul Pogba pulling the strings.
However, the moment of the match came in the dying embers, just after Jesse Lingard was thrown on as a late sub. The team were playing in second gear, but that didn’t stop some sublime passing play from the lads. Included in the move was twenty-one passes, before a stunning finish from the young Englishman Lingard.

Moments like this are something Jose must be extremely proud of, and going forward if we get more goals like this on a regular basis it’ll be a great confidence booster.
