Wilfried Zaha signed for United in the summer for a fee that will eventually rise to £15million which seems a hefty fee for someone who hasn’t played a single minute of Premier League football. The pacey winger has set the Championship alight the season, though, and he added another goal and two assists last night.
You get the feeling that Zaha may be used as more of a substitute next season, with possibly the odd start coming in the Capital One Cup. After watching him whenever possible since the deal was announced, it has become clear he is far from the finished article and he’ll need time to settle in with his new teammates. He also seems like he has the modern footballer attitude, he seems like a bit of a bad boy and he’ll have to cut that out as soon as he walks through the Old Trafford doors.
