Watch: Noam Emeran scores gorgeous goal for Man Utd’s U18s

Noam Emeran has scored opened the scoring for Man United’s U18s with an absolute belter of a strike.

Manchester United Football Club have always put their faith in youth. The Red Devils, under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tutelage, have been all-too-willing to give the next generation their opportunity.

From Amad Diallo to Brandon Williams, the Baby Faced Assassin is moving this club in the right direction. Appointing A Director of Football like John Murtough, who’ll work directly with Darren Fletcher, will only aid that process.

On days where the senior team aren’t playing, all eyes turn to our youth setup. Today, the U18s are taking on Sunderland, with several players on the pitch who are already being touted as future first-team regulars.

Amongst them is Noam Emeran, who scored a gorgeous solo goal to open the scoring, taking his tally on the season to three.

Thanks to @utdreportAcad for the video:

Emeran is a French-born-winger, who has already represented his country at youth level. The starlet signed for United almost two years ago now – and if you want to feel old, he was only born in 2002!

This is a young man who has bags of talent. As you can see from the goal above, his main strength is cutting in on his left-foot and taking a shot on goal – similar to how Mason Greenwood currently operates.

Emeran can also play off the left-hand side if needs be, but right now, his style looks far better suited to a right-hand role.

Obviously, it’ll be a year or so before Emeran is probably being considered for first-team action. However, if United’s injuries continue to mount up, a surprise call-up to the squad could happen before this season ends.

Failing that, you’d hope Emeran is considered good enough to feature on a pre-season tour, assuming United get one this summer, of course.
