Manchester United safely made it to Perth for the first leg of their pre-season tour, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to put their players through their paces in training. The first game takes place in just five days time, when the Red Devils play Perth Glory.
Before that, though, the lads wanted to stretch the legs after a 16-hour plane journey as they checked out their new surroundings. The video, courtesy of United’s official Twitter account, showed the team in a predominantly positive mood. However, there was one rather weird looking encounter…
It involved Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard, as the pair looked unhappy in some sort of disagreement before Victor Lindelof stepped in and put his arm around the Frenchman’s shoulder.
Thankfully, the good people of Twitter have slowed down the apparent bust-up:
First of all, why would United even publish this? They’ve either glossed right over it or they’re trying to send a message out to the fans that Pogba is the bad guy in all of this.
I just don’t get it. These two have always been close, but they definitely don’t look happy in this exchange, and it’s certainly not a joke, it looks like a serious situation.
I’m just not sure what to make of it, but it’s certainly not a good look for Pogba nor Lingard. Hopefully, it’s something of nothing but it couldn’t have been timed any worse…
