Wayne Rooney tells United to improve if they want Champions League football

Manchester United slumped to a 2-1 defeat away at Swansea City over the weekend, with Louis vandal allowing his rivals to make up ground in the hunt for a spot in the top four. Wayne Rooney has spoken out on the matter, and suggested United need to improve, and quickly.

“We need to hit back next week. It is a must-win game.” The Manchester United captain said.

“There are still a lot of games to go and we have to bounce back from this quickly, go on another good run and try to keep us in a good position to finish in that top four.”

Wayne Rooney has a point. Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are in great form of late, and if United don’t pick up the performances in the not too distant future then the club could well find themselves out of the top four all of the sudden.
