Wes Brown urges Man United to sign ‘all three’ of Sancho, Grealish & Maddison

When play finally resumes and this current season ends, Manchester United have a huge summer transfer window ahead.

This Red Devils side feels like one on the up, though a few more key signings could well push United back over the edge. Competing at the highest level is in this club’s DNA, credit to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for moving United back in the right direction.

Bruno Fernandes’ addition was a masterstroke, make no mistake about it. However, further money has to be spent. Three names constantly keep getting linked with a move to Old Trafford; Jadon Sancho, Jack Grealish and James Maddison.

Well, United great Wes Brown has urged the Reds to make all three of these high-profile signings happen, though that’s obviously easier said than done…

‘I would have all three! Any one of those three would be great.” Wes Brown joked live on MUTV, transcribed by The Metro.

‘Jadon Sancho would probably be No. 1. But James Maddison looks fit and ready and determined and would also be a great asset for the club.

‘Jack Grealish is an individual that gets things done, takes control of the game and has his own style. Any one of those three would be perfect I think. ‘If that was to happen and Ole could tinker with it a little bit and see where they all fit in it that midfield, I think we’d be a force to be reckoned with.’

Who wouldn’t want all of these guys? Stick Jadon Sancho on the right, Jack Grealish on the left and James Maddison in that #10 role. Perfect.

Football doesn’t work like that, though. That’d probably cost in excess of £200million while there’s a high chance that at least one of these guys won’t be on the move this summer.

Personally, if United can get two of these moves done then we have to feel good about our chances. To me, Sancho feels like an inevitability, while Solskjaer may have to choose directly between Grealish and Maddison.

I was always a Maddison fan, though recently, I’ve been warming to Grealish. He has that swagger, that cockiness, that arrogance which is often required to make it at the highest level.

Don’t bet against Solskjaer going all-in this summer and I suspect Brown probably knows more than he’s letting on in regards to United’s targets. Perhaps the former United defender is trying to tell us something…?
