There’s a big chance that at least one of Manchester United’s stars will lift the Euro 2020 trophy, but which of them has the most significant chances of winning the famous trophy? Most Manchester United fans will want England to win the competition, but that won’t be so easy. Portugal, France, and Spain are all fantastic candidates to lift the trophy, and there’s a lot of excitement that awaits us.
Scott McTominay had a decent season with Man United this season, but we all know he has the slimmest chances of lifting the European Championship. Scotland just doesn’t have enough quality to compete with other nations such as Germany, Spain, Portugal, England, etc.
Portugal is bringing a powerful team to the Euros, and we can’t wait to see their performance this summer.
Bruno Fernandes has had a fantastic season with Manchester United; even if he didn’t win any trophies, there’s a big chance that he’ll win one this summer. Out of all the Manchester United players, we believe that Bruno Fernandes has the best chance to win the European Championship, and the latest soccer betting odds from Betway give Portugal an excellent chance to do so.
France has been dominating the national scene in recent years, and there’s no reason they won’t be a huge threat this summer as predicted by Betway and other bookmakers. One of the brand new call-ups for the French national squad has been Karim Benzema, and he can be the key to help Paul Pogba to lift the trophy. If Paul Pogba provides consistent performances, there aren’t that many players that can come near him.
Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, and Dean Henderson
With Greenwood leaving the England squad this year due to injury and Jesse Lingard (on loan at West Ham until the 30th of June) being left out from the team, we have four players in the England squad this year. Although we believe that Portugal and France will have better chances at winning the Euros this year, England also has a strong team and a bright future. It’ll be entertaining to watch this team in the upcoming years. Our four players in the England team this year will all have a vital role in trying and win the championship.
David De Gea
If David De Gea can maintain consistent performances during the Euro 2020 campaign, he’ll be crucial to Spain’s success for sure. The Spanish national team hasn’t had success since their prime years, and they’re hoping to turn things around. Betway have put Spain chances behind those of France, Germany and England, and that’s a fair estimate.
Even if they have a solid squad coming up for the competition, we believe that not bringing Sergio Ramos will be a big mistake. Aymeric Laporte will try to fit his shoes, and even though we think that he’s a fantastic player, it just won’t be enough.
Which United player do you think will be the European champion this summer?
