According to the Daily Mail, ‘frustrated’ Wilfried Zaha is set for a January loan move to a fellow Premier League side. The 21-year old winger hasn’t been used by Moyes since coming on as a substitute in the Community Shield, which is odd because he featured so prominently on the clubs pre-season tour.
A whole host of clubs are interesting in his signature on a short-term deal, including his old side Crystal Palace, and Europa League side Swansea City. His lack of performances for United have also seen the £15million rated winger dropped from the England squad, and is now looking unlikely to be heading to Rio for the World Cup next summer.
Regular top-flight football would do Zaha the world of good, because at his age he needs to be playing week-in week-out to develop into the player we all know he can be. Maybe as Moyes settles into his role more and more he will begin to take more chances with the youngsters, but as of right now the new boss seems to be turning to experience rather than youth.
Its there for all to see that Wilfried Zaha is a talented boy, I just hope David Moyes uses him against Norwich in the Capital One Cup to at least give him a go before deciding to let him go out on loan. I personally feel he could make an impact in the first-team right away, but then again, I’m not manager of Manchester United!
