What a perfect way for the young man to bow out on – Zaha and his Palace teammates fought hard and battled for 120 minutes, their prize is a spot in the Premier League next season. The 20-year old was right at the heart of all the action again, winning the penalty that eventually won the Eagles the game.
After single-handedly destroying Brighton to earn a spot in the Playoff final with two superb goals, this time Zaha turned provider in a Man of the Match performance. The youngster couldn’t be coming to United at a better time – all our wingers aren’t performing and Zaha could well come in and find himself in the thick of the action straight away.
The young man has come in for some criticism from United fans and opposition fans alike, with the hefty £15million price tag at the centre of it all. Although £15million is a massive gamble, based on todays evidence it could prove to be an excellent bit of business that was wrapped up early. Therefore stopping other clubs from sniffing around after his superb displays in the recent weeks.
The winger shown exactly what he is capable of today; Pace, power and trickery. He took on Watford almost at will and all that was lacking was the final ball. At just 20-years old though, that will come with age.
Wilfried Zaha, welcome to Manchester United!
