Wolves targeting move for 24-year-old Man United man: report

For Manchester United, the 2019/20 summer is hugely important. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs money to spend. He needs to be backed if the Red Devils want to move forward with him at the wheel.

If players are signed, then it’s only inevitable that some will have to leave. Now, according to TeamTalk, it is being reported that Wolverhampton Wanderers are targeting a move for 24-year-old Victor Lindelof.

Apparently, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team spoke with United about potentially buying Lindelof twelve months ago but Jose Mourinho refused to sell. A year on, that looks like an excellent decision. Now, the Portuguese manager is looking to renew that interest and try and persuade the Red Devils into selling.

Lindelof was by far and away our best centre-half this season as he shown a real maturity as he begun to adapt to life in the Premier League.

He’s quick, strong, tough in the tackle and brilliant in the air. Lindelof is also calm in possession and gets United moving forward in the right direction. I’d be extremely surprised if Solskjaer sanctioned a move to sell their best defender, although if he wants to completely rebuild, then I guess you never know…
