Real Madrid superstar Isco is keen on a move to Manchester United; but only if Zinedine Zidane deems him surplus to requirements.
That’s according to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, translated by the Daily Express. The report also states that Jose Mourinho is preparing to overhaul his current squad at Old Trafford.
Bringing in Isco would be a magnificent statement of intent by the Red Devils. He’s a truly world-class attacker, who hasn’t been able to fully unleash at Real Madrid.
Sure, United have some brilliant attacking talents on their books, but they’ve not had that out-and-out #10 in years. Isco would come in and nail that position down from day one, but I’d imagine there would be competition aplenty for his signature.
Then you have to consider the fact that the deal solely depends on Madrid’s willingness to sell. Isco is a rare breed of player, fortunately for the La Liga giants, they’ve a ready-made replacement in the form of Marco Asensio…
Next, you have to factor in Madrid’s asking price. Isco would command an astronomical transfer fee, probably approaching the £100million mark, and heck, you’d probably say he’s worth it…
