World class attacker tells Manchester United he wants to join them

Manchester United and Jose Mourinho are clearly trying their utmost best to make the Old Trafford club a perennial force again, with the self-proclaimed Special One already sealing a deal for Eric Bailly. A second transfer could now be close, and it comes from a reliable source.

Paul Hirst, who writes for The Times, and used to work for the Associated Press, has claimed that Henrikh Mkhitaryan has told Borussia Dortmund he wants to leave the club this summer. On top of that, Manchester United is his preferred destination.

The 27-year-old is also out of contract in twelve months time, so that means he could well force a move away, or Borussia Dortmund risk losing him on a free next summer.

Check out Paul Hirst’s tweet here:

In terms of his style of play, he’d fit the Premier League excellently. He has pace, a real eye for a pass and has the physical stature to compete in a tough league.

Hopefully, Jose Mourinho and Edward Woodward can get this deal done.
