Manchester United Football Club are a side in dire straits at the moment, having not won a game in eight outings. However one constant in the side has been David de Gea, and the goalkeeper position is always a spot that has been quite strong at Old Trafford.
One of the best in the league at the moment is Petr Cech, and in an interview with the Daily Mirror, he has revealed that he always looked up to the Manchester United pair of Edwin van der Sar and Peter Schmeichel.
These are two of the absolute greats in the game we love, especially the Great Dane who was one of the main reasons we managed to secure that famous treble back in 1999.
The same can be said for Edwin van der Sar too, who helped Manchester United on that famous night in Moscow as he denied Nicholas Anelka to win a Champions League crown.
