Manchester United’s results haven’t been anywhere near good enough at times this season, and the majority of the blame simply has to fall on the shoulders of one man – Louis van Gaal. However the Iron Tulip could well be out of a job come the summer.
According to the usually reliable Manchester United fanzine Red Issue, Jose Mourinho has already been told he will be Manchester United’s next manager and will take over in the summer.
Red Issue went on to say that the board told the self-proclaimed Special One that he has the job after United’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool last night.
At the end of the day, Old Trafford needs a change of direction and purpose. Louis van Gaal’s methods seem completely outdated, despite them working extremely well in the past – which is a real shame, but at this point in time the Iron Tulip just doesn’t seem like the right fit.
