World star admits it would be difficult to turn Manchester United move down

Louis van Gaal’s work at Manchester United is clearly far from done, with the Dutchman checking out new potential signings all the time. The latest on that list is the Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder, Hakan Calhanoglu. The 21-year old has had his say on the whole transfer situation.

“Barcelona and Manchester United are huge clubs. It would be difficult to turn them down.” Calhanoglu said.

The Turkish international is fast emerging as one of the most talented starlets in the game, and his free-kick ability is definitely the best in Europe. Lets not forget he’s only 21, too. Bayer Leverkusen would obviously be extremely reluctant when it comes to selling Calhanoglu, but their hand may be forced if any of the aforementioned duo come in for him.

I still feel that Manchester United need proven quality rather than prospects at this time however, and that will remain to be the case until the squad is fully equipped to challenge for major honours.
