Young Trio Poised For Loan Moves

Reserve team manager, Warren Joyce, has confirmed that three of his players are set for loan moves to the Npower Championship. Robbie Brady will rejoin Steve Bruce at Hull City, with Michael Keane and Jesse Lingard set to join Leicester City.

Loan moves give these type of players the experience they need if they want to develop into top players, Robbie Brady had a solid pre-season with the first-team, but hasn’t been able to force his way into Fergie’s plans since. The 20-year old is a full international with Ireland, but is yet to feature for United.

Michael Keane battled so bravely against Chelsea in the Capital One Cup last week, but will probably find his chances limited if he were to stay with United. Big things are expected of the 19-year old and a loan move will do him the world of good. He’ll learn a lot more playing competitive football week-in week-out rather than playing in the U21’s league.

The same can be said for Jesse Lingard, the experience will prove extremely valuable to him in the long run. He also featured on the pre-season tour of Asia and acquitted himself very well.
