Manchester United could have just completed the biggest transfer of the summer. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed that he will move to the theatre of Dreams during this transfer window. The 34-year-old is a free agent, and had a whole host of clubs to choose from.
However, it’s Manchester United that have won the race, and Ibrahimovic will put pen to paper on a one-year deal at the Theatre of Dreams.
What a brilliant piece of business by Jose Mourinho; who knows Ibrahimovic extremely well from their time together at Inter Milan.
If anyone can get the best out of the influential Swede, it’s Jose, and the pair will be hoping to guide Manchester United to glory in some form or another come May.
The move obviously doesn’t come cheap, though. Manchester United will be paying him a huge £220,000-a-week for the duration of his contract, according to the Guardian broadsheet.
