Manchester United fans could have just been given the biggest hint yet that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be playing at the club next season. A real estate agency have confirmed that they have found a new home for the 34-year old – and it just so happens to be in Manchester.
The player himself has remained tight-lipped about any possible move, with latest reports suggesting that any deal won’t happen until July at the earliest.
‘We can confirm that we have found a new home for the footballer in Manchester, following the indications given by the club’ a statement read.
‘We struggled a bit at the beginning because Manchester is not Paris, nor Milan. Zlatan couldn’t understand that the architectural style can’t be the same, but in the end he was ‘forced to agree’ a move to an amazing villa with inner swimming pool and a very big garden.
‘Zlatan is a guy with huge sense of humour, we’ve watched the launching event of his sporting cloth brand and his comment on the house was kind of fun too: ‘I will adapt”‘.
So it certainly looks as though a move is going to happen. Jose Mourinho may have just sent out a real message of intent by bringing in the influential Swede – and what a brilliant signing he will be.
Manchester United’s leadership on the field over the last few seasons has been non-existent, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will definitely lead from the front.
Despite his age, he is still one of the top ten strikers in the game at the moment, and he could be huge if the club are to challenge for the title in the 2016/17 campaign.
