Manchester United are clearly interested in acquiring the services of Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer, with Jose Mourinho keen to add some firepower up front. The 34-year-old would certainly bring that, after scoring fifty goals for PSG across all competitions last year.
His agent, Mino Raiola, has had his say on the situation, and claimed that he has already made his mind up about the next club of his client.
Firstly, Raiola was asked about what he thought about United, and he said:
“(they are) A great team with a great coach”.
“I have already decided, now it is up to him. We will see.” Raiola began.
“They are really busy with the Euro. Out of respect for the Euro, the country and the coach, he should concentrate on that.”
As you’d imagine, he is keeping his cards relatively close to his chest, but you do feel that Raiola would love for Ibrahimovic to make the move to Manchester United this summer.
The media have been building up this transfer over the last few weeks, and with Sweden looking close to an exit out of the European Championships, we could well get the news we all want sooner than expected.
Despite that, Ibrahimovic hasn’t been all that impressive so far for his country, so hopefully we see some improvements from him in Sweden’s final group game.
